About IFC

LUK's Intensive Foster Care programs provide loving and stable homes to children between the ages of birth and 22 years of age. These children represent a wide range of racial and ethnic backgrounds who are placed in LUK Foster Homes due to abuse and neglect, physical and sexual abuse, as well as current family crisis. These children are faced with challenges that include emotional, behavioral, developmental and medical challenges, as well as teenage moms who need support and guidance.

You and your family will become part of LUK's Intensive Foster Care Team. Each foster parent is provided with a Family Resource Specialist (FRS) who will provide support for you through the recruitment and licensing process and will continue to provide your family with support once your home is opened as a licensed foster care provider. In addition, each child placed in your home will be provided a LUK Case Manager. The Case Manager's role is to provide intensive in home case management to assist the foster home and child in meeting specific needs and goals.

LUK is looking to expand our network of Intensive Foster Care Homes by identifying individuals to provide nurturing environments that can meet the unique needs of the children we provide services to.
